Our large outdoor patio is available for picnics and summertime activities. Residents and families enjoy the beautiful flower gardens that our volunteers plant each year. Popular activities include bingo, happy hour, card club, morning exercise groups, baking, coffee socials, intergenerational activities, and special musical entertainment. The recreational |
department also takes residents out to lunch, to museums, to the local fair, and our annual hayride. Residents can attend various religious services offered throughout the week in Marywood’s chapel. Clergy and volunteers deliver communion to our residents. Our Chaplain visits residents regularly to provide spiritual guidance.

We have a brightly decorated/fully equipped beauty/barber shop. Residents can make routine appointments with a licensed beautician or barber. Dedicated volunteers also come in every Thursday morning to set hair free of charge.
The activity room is abundantly supplied with leisure materials including books, magazines, radios, televisions, games, and craft supplies. Residents are welcome to use this room any time of the day or night.
Volunteers fill Marywood’s hallways with cheer. You will see them visiting and assisting residents, delivering library books, and organizing wonderful activity programs. Registered pet therapy dogs also visit the facility frequently to the residents delight.
